Michael Cempa is a meteorologist by day, and a photographer by night (figuratively speaking, as he works rotating shifts).  The sky takes a prominent role in many of his images, which is probably due to his interest in the weather.  He lives in Portland, Maine, and shoots the Maine and New England natural landscape, as well as the urban landscape of Northeastern cities.
